The effect in detail:
The mentalist shows a completely sealed envelope. The spectator freely names any card.
The magician then takes a closed box of cards from the envelope. The spectator opens the box and discovers a deck of cards and a prediction folded in quarters.
Example prediction: "Your card will be number 14."
The spectator counts 14 cards in the deck… and finds their named card exactly!
