So impossible that it has been named... IMPOSSIBLE created by Mickael Chatelain.
Imagine the following scene, my friends:
- Take a small envelope out of your pocket.
- This envelope has the word “PREDICTION” written on it!
- Place the envelope in plain view on your table, for example! You can even leave it in the hands of your spectator if you wish; it's just an envelope.
- Now take out your deck of cards.
- Show the front and back; it's a complete deck where all the cards are different!
- Spread the cards out on the table and invite one of your spectators to choose one!
- Let's imagine that this card is the KING OF HEARTS.
- Give your spectator a sheet of paper with some stickers and ask them to sign one of them with your marker!
- Peel off the signed sticker and stick it in the middle of the KING OF HEARTS!
- Be careful, the signed sticker is actually stuck on the spectator's card; there is no illusion or anything like that!
- Now show everyone the KING OF HEARTS with the signed sticker!
- Slowly, the KING OF HEARTS is placed somewhere in the ribbon of cards!
- Show it one last time, this is very important!
- Now imagine: THE IMPOSSIBLE!
Explain to your audience that they have traveled through time throughout the trick... and that it is completely impossible for the KING OF HEARTS to have been chosen from the deck!
IMPOSSIBLE because the KING OF HEARTS was in the prediction envelope from the start! Yes, in the envelope on the table, or in the one he is holding in his hand!
Your spectators won't believe a word of it, and yet:
- Take the envelope (placed on the table or in your spectator's hands).
- With your fingertips, slowly open it...
- Inside, there is one card, and only one!
- Take it out and show it to your spectators: it is indeed the KING OF HEARTS!
- The sticker, affixed and signed by the spectator himself, proves that it is indeed the card chosen a few seconds earlier!
- How is this possible?
