Olson’s Closer is an incredibly strong multi-phase card effect, co-produced with American magician Erick Olson.
The magician begins by handing two prediction cards to a spectator for safekeeping. He then displays a thoroughly shuffled deck, invites a spectator to freely choose a card, memorize it, return it to the deck, and shuffle.
He immediately reads the spectator's mind and reveals the chosen card: the Ace of Spades. He then proceeds to locate not only the Ace of Spades but also the Aces of the other three suits.
The routine builds in intensity: he produces the face cards and high-value Spades (10, Jack, Queen, and King). Then, in the blink of an eye, the Spades from 2 through 7 also appear.
Only the 8 and 9 of Spades are missing. The magician draws attention to the two prediction cards held by the audience from the start. When turned over, they prove to be exactly the two missing Spades.
For the finale, with a simple snap of the fingers, the previously shuffled deck instantly snaps back into the perfect order of a brand-new deck straight from the factory.
