Born in 1992, Koichi Yairi is known for his retro cartoon style, monochrome halftone illustrations, and whimsical, ghostly characters full of poetry and humor. A graduate of Musashino Art University, he regularly exhibits his work in Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, and Seoul, and also creates designs for album covers, apparel, and other creative projects.
