Example Routine 1 – The Survivor Envelope
A spectator numbers six envelopes 1 through 6. They put fake bills in five and their own real $100 bill in the sixth, then seal them all. They roll the die—if a 2 comes up, envelope #2 is destroyed (burned, shredded, whatever). Repeat until only one envelope remains. Miracle: their real $100 bill is always the lone survivor!
They number the envelopes themselves, place their own money, roll the die themselves, and destroy the envelopes themselves. It feels too good to be true—because it isn’t… for them!
Example Routine 2 – The Last Cup Standing
Six paper cups on the table. The magician turns his back. A spectator writes the numbers 1–6 on the cups and hides an object (ring, coin, pin holder…) under any one they choose. The rest stay empty.
The magician turns around, hands the dice to the spectator, and asks them to roll. Whatever number comes up, that cup is crushed and eliminated. Keep going until only one cup is left… Boom—every single time, the final cup is the one hiding the object!
