Astor's "YES" is a fun and highly effective take on a classic principle by Pavel.
The magician displays a holder containing a banknote and a strip of connected cards. The backs of the cards are printed with either "YES" or "NO." The spectator is invited to choose the right card to win the banknote.
The magician places a metal clip at the top of the card strip and slowly slides it downward. The spectator says "stop" whenever they wish. The clip stops on the chosen card.
When the magician turns the strip of cards over, every card reads "YES"... except for the one chosen by the spectator, which reads "NO." Consequently, the spectator never wins the banknote!
